Norfolk Southern Railroad submitted its remedial motion strategy on Monday, detailing its response to the practice derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, and what it strategies to do upcoming.

In the plan, submitted to the Ohio Environmental Security Company, the firm claimed it will install wells to monitor groundwater and sample soil in the Ohio village.

Citizens ended up allowed to return house previous week after about 50 teach vehicles, 10 of which carried hazardous elements, derailed in a fiery wreck on Feb. 3. Vinyl chloride, a gasoline contained in 5 of the cars and trucks, was introduced and burned to avoid explosion, triggering poisonous fumes to be introduced in the spot.
